New hemp regulations coming soon!
There are new laws regarding the hemp industry which are set to take effect November 12th, 2026 and December 11th, 2026.
Just a heads-up that the federal hemp definition is changing in two parts. The new THC standards and the limit on THC per container will kick in on December 11th, 2026, and the ban on all synthetic cannabinoids will go into effect on November 12, 2026.
Congress passed a new federal definition of “hemp” in November 2025, restricting the industry with a total THC standard and a cap on final-form products. While some provisions regarding THCa and Delta-9 are delayed until December 11th, 2026, others, like the prohibition on synthetic cannabinoids (HHC, THC-P, Delta-8, Delta-10, etc…), take effect in November. States are deciding whether to adopt the federal definition or maintain their own programs, impacting interstate commerce and the cannabis industry as a whole.
Starting November 12th, 2026, synthetic cannabinoids will no longer be allowed. Good news for Green Delivery Service: we won’t be affected because we don’t carry any synthetic cannabinoids or lab-created products. We’ve always focused on natural cannabis products, and we’ll continue to do so. It’s great to see these synthetic cannabis products finally banned. They’ve been flooding the market with questionable, unregulated, unnatural products, and the synthetic cannabis analogues have only added to the confusion for consumers. Green Delivery Service is committed to carrying only all-natural, legal, lab-tested cannabis products.
However, there are some new regulations about THCa and Delta-9 extracted from hemp that will take effect on December 11th, 2026, which might affect our business. At that time, we’ll have a better idea of the new laws and regulations set by the Federal Government and will adjust our business accordingly. We really appreciate your understanding during these uncertain times and hope you continue to support the cannabis industry.
Thank you ALL!
